Plaintiff appellee sued defendant appellant, City of Louisville, for personal injuries allegedly sustained by her when she fell upon a sidewalk, which she claims was maintained in a defective condition. Two trials were had before a jury. The first trial resulted in a verdict for $250. A new trial was granted on plaintiffs motion, and on the second trial, limited to damages only, a verdict for $12,000 returned.
